Is your existing solar system big enough?
Battery capacity should be matched to your solar generation and household consumption. If your existing solar system is small or older, you may benefit from adding additional panels when installing a battery. Adding more solar at the same time
Installing additional solar panels alongside a battery is often the most cost-effective approach. A larger solar system generates more surplus to store, improving your return on investment. We can quote a combined solar and battery upgrade if your existing system is undersized.
Blackout backup — what you need to know
Battery storage and blackout backup are not automatically the same thing. If you want your home or selected circuits to operate during a grid outage, the system needs to be specifically designed with backup capability and the appropriate electrical configuration. We offer both essential-load backup and whole-home backup options where technically suitable.
